Putman Classic
SAUVEREIGN BY STUDIO PUTMAN’s handcrafted Putman Classic Gems come in two styles that bring together signature motifs iconic to the two houses. The designs are in homage to Andrée Putman’s love of the checkerboard pattern – the Moon Gold Gem comprises a moon gold leaf base with checkers in white gold leaf, and the White Gold Gem is composed of a white gold leaf base with checkers in 24-carat gold leaf.
The checkers are arranged in a concentric pattern reminiscent of soleil – a symbol that can be found across all SAUVEREIGN creations. Further enhanced by the contrasting use of hand-mixed silkscreen ink, the Putman Classic series reflects a duality of cool geometry and warm sensuality.

Composed of 18-carat gold and an array of varied gemstones, SAUVEREIGN BY STUDIO PUTMAN’s Putman Mosaic Legacy Gems resemble a puzzle of levitating tiles. The varied depths within each Gem highlights the spatial sensitivity of its co-creator Olivia Putman as a result of her discipline as an interior designer. Collaging precious materials including Onyx, Lapis, Topaz, Mother of Pearl, and Chalcedony, this Gem is also epitomic of SAUVEREIGN’s pursuit of preciousness and permanence. Each style comes merely as a limited edition of 10.

ZOHIKO 2
SAUVEREIGN’s ZOHIKO 2 Legacy collection features delicately hand-painted artwork atop a unique glaze, developed and made exclusively for the maison. Translucent and red in hue, SAUVEREIGN’s distinctive lacquer is never-beforeseen in the 360 years of history of ZOHIKO.
Adorned with gold leaf, gold powder, and natural shell, each Gem features a whimsical depiction of objects from age-old Japanese traditions and folklore. From children’s toys to flora to cultural artefacts, the motifs are cherry-picked from ZOHIKO’s historic archive, each symbolic of fortune, prosperity, wealth, and renewal. Brought together in a reimagined narrative, their stories and meanings are retold with rejuvenated spirit. Each artwork is further enhanced with a strategic blowing of gold dust, creating a sense of movement that brings the picture to life. Enchanted with depth and animation, SAUVEREIGN’s ZOHIKO 2 Legacy is a playful emblem of hope, optimism, and child-like wonder.

ARCTIC 2 × ZOHIKO 3
ARCTIC 2 ZOHIKO Legacy is a playful reimagination of the maison’s ARCTIC 2 Legacy series, juxtaposing resplendent dispersions of duo-coloured gold leaf against delicate brushwork and the unique glaze of SAUVEREIGN ZOHIKO.
Whilst the classic ARCTIC 2 collection is depictive of a topographical shoreline looking from above, ARCTIC 2 ZOHIKO Legacy also appears as if a night sky, looking from under passing clouds or a cherry blossom tree. Looking into the calming depth of its deep red hue, a sense of meditation can be found as the specks of gold leaf seemingly morph into stars – or perhaps leaves, glistening under the moonlight.

LANTERN × ZOHIKO 3
A reimagination of SAUVEREIGN’s LANTERN Legacy series, this Gem portrays a sea of lanterns floating amidst a warm summer night. The lanterns are composed of delicately hand-cut, natural Green and Icy Jadeite imported from Burma. A precious stone prized for its high water content and fine crystalline structure, Jadeite emits a translucent glow as light reflects and refracts through its body, As the illumination of gold leaf rises from the bottom, dispersing into sporadic pieces then distant specks of light, a varied constellation forms on each side. The pair put together completes the picture of a boundless lantern-filled sky. The shape of the Gem itself is also reminiscent of a lantern, its elements mimicking the fiery sparks nurtured within. Floating together side-by-side, each Gem completes the other, symbolic of hope, harmony, and fulfilment.

ZOHIKO 4
ZOHIKO 4 Legacy is the newest collaboration between SAUVEREIGN and ZOHIKO, a Kyoto-style lacquerware house established in 1661. The collaboration first began in 2017 when ZOHIKO developed a special glaze exclusively for SAUVEREIGN. Translucent with deep red undertones, its unique quality is never-before-seen in the history of Japanese lacquerware and is featured throughout the collaboration series.
ZOHIKO 4 Legacy presents a revitalised emphasis on urushi-e and maki-e via compositions that combine contemporary motifs with traditional artworks. Exuberant with youthful vibrance, ZOHIKO 4 Legacy perpetuates the generational craftsmanship of Japanese lacquerware while breathing new life into this historic technique. Each creation is also coated with a protective lacquer proprietary to SAUVEREIGN that creates a shiny, enamel-like surface.
