PUTMAN MOSAIC MIRROR
SAUVEREIGN BY STUDIO PUTMAN is a collaboration between Hong Kong-born art and luxury house SAUVEREIGN and the internationally renowned French design studio, Studio Putman. Coming together to create an entirely new body of wearable sculptural ornaments, or Gems, as well as home goods, the collection is a fusion of art, luxury, and design.
The partnership is led by Bertrand Mak, founder and chief creator of SAUVEREIGN, and Olivia Putman, daughter to Andrée Putman, the late legendary interior and product designer, and heir to the eponymous Studio. Owing to the distinct natures of their respective mediums, the collaboration poses a challenge of coalescing colliding philosophies. The first-ever crossover between Studio Putman and an Asian designer, the resultant creations embody a duality of Western elegance permeated with Eastern delicacy.
